Add-On Services:

Print and Mail: +$25 / QDRO
We will print and mail your documents to you, so you simply need to mail the documents to the Plan Administrator and the Court Clerk's office, following our detailed instructions. This service is ideal for anyone without access to a printer.

Pre-Approval Service: +$199 / QDRO
We will handle the entire pre-approval step of the filing process. This includes mailing the QDRO to the Plan Administrator for a pre-approval review, and addressing the response sent back from the plan (including revisions). This service excludes the next steps of the filing process after Pre-Approval Review, namely: obtaining signatures from your ex and the judge, as well as ordering the certified copy of the signed and filed QDRO from the court to deliver this to the Plan Administrator.

If you don't want to use our Pre-Approval Service, simply follow the instructions we provide you in our Filing Instructions. You will have unlimited access to our Customer Support Team to guide you through the process of handling the pre-approval process yourself with the Plan Administrator.

Fidelity-Generated QDRO: +$199 / QDRO
Fidelity does not offer or provide pre-approval review for many of the plans where it serves as the third party administrator. However, for some of those plans, Fidelity does have a system for generating a QDRO that is automatically pre-approved. For this add-on, we will use Fidelity’s system to generate a QDRO for you, which will be automatically approved by Fidelity after it is executed by the judge and filed with the appropriate court. If the QDRO is generated from Fidelity’s system, Fidelity charges a $300 processing fee, which is $900 less than the fee to process a custom drafted QDRO.

We highly recommend this add-on for Fidelity-managed retirement plans in order to drastically shorten processing time and to limit any potential approval issues. If this is one of the Fidelity plans that does not offer generating from their system, SimpleQDRO will submit the documents for pre-approval review on your behalf. Please note that it is your responsibility to confirm with Fidelity whether, or not, this plan offers pre-approval review. If pre-approval review is not offered, and in the unlikely event that it is rejected by Fidelity, we will revise or amend your QDRO as necessary for no additional fee.

Expedited QDRO Drafting Service: +$99 / QDRO
Our typical turnaround time for QDRO drafting is 3 business days. This optional add-on is if you would like to accelerate this timeline to 1 business day.

Generate MSA Language: +$99 / QDRO
For attorneys only, we will generate the proposed language to insert into your client's Marital Settlement Agreement for you to use based on the information you provided about their case.
